Checking the Diagnostic Sockets

Fault symptom
No communication between the anti-theft alarm control module and the Intelligent Saab Tester (ISAT).

Diagnostic procedure
1 Connect the ISAT and the BOB and check the voltage at the control module by measuring across pin 2 of the control module connector and a good grounding point.
The voltage should be about 12 V.
2 Check the wiring for continuity/shorting by measuring the resistance across pin 8 of the diagnostics socket and pin 2 of the anti-theft alarm connector.
The resistance should be < 1 ohm.
