Short-Circuit Monitoring of the Direction Indicator Circuits
The anti-theft alarm's control module can detect a short circuit in any of the direction indicator circuits. In the event of a short circuit occurring, only the acoustic alarm will sound and the direction indicators will not be activated. This is to ensure that the fuse protecting the anti-theft alarm will not blow if the alarm is triggered, as this would render the alarm inoperative.
This is to ensure that the alarm is not put out of action.
The acoustic signal works as usual.
