Operation: Overview

To activate the anti-theft alarm turn the key 90° clockwise, i.e. 45° after the locked position, to the anti-theft position.

Important: For full anti-theft protection, withdraw the key in the anti-theft position.

To unlock, turn the key in the opposite direction 90° from the neutral position.

When the alarm has been activated, engagement will be delayed for 10 seconds (delay period). Doors, top and tailgate can be opened during these 10 seconds without triggering the alarm.

During the delay period (10 seconds) the LED will shine with a steady light and then begin to flash at the rate of 1 flash per 2 seconds.

If a door or the top or tailgate is opened during the delay period, the LED will start to flash at the rate of 1 flash per second.
When the alarm is subsequently engaged, the LED will flash at the rate of 1 flash per 2 seconds.

On deactivation, the LED will shine for 1 second.
