Diagnostic procedure
1. Clear the diagnostic trouble code and then leave the ignition switch in the ON position for about 1 minute to check whether the DTC is generated afresh.
2 If the DTC is generated afresh, try fitting a new Saab Information Display (SID) unit. If the DTC is again generated with the new SID unit, the fault could be in the audio system, main instrument display panel or the AGO. Read their diagnostic trouble codes and proceed with fault diagnosis in these systems.
