B1532
Fig. 20 Code B1532: Battery Voltage Low:
Symptom
ABS warning lamp is lit, ABS inoperative.
Condition
Fault is recorded after max. 60 second when the system does not control if the battery voltage is between 5V and 9.8V Fault is recorded after max.60 seconds when the system does not control if the battery voltage is between 5V and 8.6V
Action
1. Check the +15 voltage to the control module by using ISAT command "BATT VOLTAGE + 30 on the "OBTAIN READOUT" menu.
- The voltage must be equal to Batt+
- If the voltage is correct, go to item 4 if the voltage is incorrect, continue with the next item.
2. Unplug the 4-pin connector from the control module with the ignition turned off. With the ignition on, check that there is voltage by measuring between pins 1 and 3 on the connector.
- If there is voltage(approx.12V) proceed to item 4.
- If there is no voltage check fuse 19. Replace the fuse if necessary.
- If the fuse is intact, continue with the next item.
3. Check the wire between pin 1 in the 4-pin connector and fuse 19 for short-cut or break in continuity. Check ground lead between pin 3 and grounding point G-30 as well.
4. If no fault has discovered despite the above check, clear the fault codes, test drive the car and see whether the faultcode re-appears, if so, Test Procedure Prior to ECM Replacement for further actions.
