Fault symptoms
One or more of the following:
The "REAR LIGHTS U/S" message does not work
The "BRAKE LIGHTS U/S" message does not work.
The "TEST BRAKE LIGHTS" message does not work

The acoustic reminder does not work.

The direction indicator acoustic repeater does not work

Diagnostic procedure
1 Check the wiring by connecting a BOB to the 22-pin connector behind the Saab Information Display (SID) unit (SID unit disconnected). Unplug the 70-pin ICE connector.
2 Check for shorting to ground between pin 8 of the SID unit and pin 37 of the ICE. Locate and rectify the fault.
