Information:
This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on a certain 2006 model year Cayenne (V6), Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo vehicles. There is the possibility the vehicles front and rear brake pads may squeal (squeaking) when applied.
To remedy the situation, replace front and rear brake pads with optimized brake pads. Affected vehicles: A total of 990 U.S. and Canadian vehicles fall within the scope of this Workshop Campaign.

Use the VIN range below as a general guideline. The VIN can be checked in the Porsche e-DCS/WWS for confirmation of an open recall campaign. Refer to Attachment "A" to determine if a particular vehicle is eligible for this recall campaign (or Workshop Campaign). Also, the VIN can be checked via the VRU (Voice Response System) for any open listing.
Not every vehicle in the below listed range may be affected. Use the ranges below as a general guideline. Alternatively, the VIN can be checked in the Porsche e-DCS/WWS for confirmation of an open service action.
The affected Vehicle Identification Numbers are contained in the VIN Ranges shown.

Attachment "B" Work Procedure: Replacing front and rear brake pads.
1. Remove front brake pads according to > Workshop Manual '463620 Removing and Installing front brake pads' and install brake pads specified listed under Parts Information.
2. Remove rear brake pads according to > Workshop Manual '463820 Removing and installing rear brake pads' and install brake pads specified listed under Parts Information.
Note!
Do not enter the Workshop Campaign in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.
