Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement

Removal Procedure





Note: Before you remove the windshield wiper arm, place the wipers in the park position and note its location for proper installation.

1. Remove the plastic nut cover (1) from the wiper arm (2).




2. Remove the nut (1) from the left front wiper arm (2), and remove the left wiper arm (2).




3. Remove the nut (1) from the right front wiper arm (2),and remove the right wiper arm (2).

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)

1. Install the right front windshield wiper arm (2) to the windshield wiper transmission. Secure the arm with the nut (1) and tighten to 26 Nm (19 lb ft).




2. Install the left front windshield wiper arm (2) to the windshield wiper transmission. Secure the arm with the nut (1) and tighten to 26 Nm (19 lb ft).




3. Install the plastic nut cover (1) to the wiper arms (2).
