Accumulator Piston Removal
1. Remove the fluid passage gasket (1) from the transaxle case.
2. Remove the transaxle case 2nd clutch apply gasket (1) from the transaxle case.
3. Remove the 2nd clutch hub gasket (1) from the transaxle case.
4. Remove the accumulator valve and spring from the transaxle case.
5. Remove the spring from the 5th clutch accumulator piston.
6. Using needle-nose pliers, remove the 5th clutch accumulator piston from the transaxle case.
7. Remove the O-ring (2) from the 5th clutch accumulator piston (1).
Note:
* Applying compressed air may cause the piston to jump-out. When removing the piston, hold it by hand using a waste cloth.
* Take care not to splash ATF when applying compressed air.
8. Apply compressed air to the oil hole (1) and remove the reverse accumulator piston and spring.
9. Remove the O-rings (2) from the reverse clutch accumulator piston.
Note:

* Take care not to splash ATF when applying compressed air.
10. Apply compressed air to the oil hole (1) and remove the 1, 2, 3, 4, and reverse clutch accumulator piston and springs.
11. Remove the O-ring (2) from the 1, 2, 3, 4, and reverse clutch accumulator piston (1).
