49. Park Pawl Installation

Park Pawl Installation




1. Install the pawl pin (3) and spring (2) to the parking lock pawl (1).




2. Hand tighten the parking lock pawl, pin and spring to the transaxle case.




3. Install the parking lock pawl shaft (1).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

4. Install the pawl shaft clamp (1) with the bolt and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
