Rear Carrier Removal




1. Using a screwdriver, remove the snap ring (1).




2. Remove the rear carrier (1) from the transaxle case.




3. Remove the sun gear thrust needle roller bearings (4), sun gear thrust bearing races, and sun gear (2) from the rear carrier.




4. Remove the low reverse clutch plates from the transaxle case.
