Sun Gear Assemble




1. Install the 2nd clutch sprag and rear carrier thrust washer to the rear sun gear.




2. Inspect the 2nd clutch sprag and rear sun gear for one-way clutch action.
3. Hold the 2nd clutch sprag and turn the rear sun gear making sure that the rear sun gear turns freely counterclockwise and locks when turned clockwise.




4. Install the low clutch sprag thrust outer washer and rear carrier thrust waster to the rear sun gear.




5. Install the rear sun gear and 2nd clutch sprag assembly to the rear carrier.




6. Install the rear sun gear thrust needle roller bearing to the rear sun gear assembly.
