24. 2nd Clutch Assemble

2nd Clutch Assemble





Note: Do not damage the seals.

1. Coat the new 2nd clutch seals with ATF WS and install them into the 2nd clutch housing.





Note: Do not damage the seals when pressing the 2nd clutch piston into the 2nd clutch housing by hand.

2. Coat the 2nd clutch piston with ATF WS and install it into the 2nd clutch housing.




3. Install the 2nd clutch spring.




4. Compress the 2nd clutch piston spring with a press, press plate (1), and 4 equal-length blocks.

Note: Make sure that the end gap of the snap ring is not aligned with the piston return spring claw.

5. Using a screwdriver, install the snap ring.
