Transmission Disassemble




1. Remove the bolt (1) and vehicle speed sensor hole plug from the transmission housing.
2. Remove the O-ring from the vehicle speed sensor hole plug.




3. Remove the nut and washer and remove the range select lever (1).




4. Using a screwdriver, pry out the lock plate and remove the manual valve shaft nut (1).




5. Remove the bolts (1, 2) and pull out the park/neutral position switch assembly.




6. Remove the bolt and remove the input speed sensor from the transmission case.




7. Remove the oil cooler tube unions from the transmission case.
8. Remove the O-rings from the oil cooler tube unions.




9. Remove the fluid pressure test hole plugs (1-4) from the transmission case and differential housing.




10. Remove the fluid pressure test hole plug (1) from the transmission case cover.
11. Remove the O-rings from the fluid pressure test hole plugs.




12. Remove the vent hose from the vent.
13. Remove the vent from the transmission case.
