Manual Shift Shaft Pin, Detent Lever, and Park Pawl Actuator Assembly Removal




1. Remove the bolts, park pawl lockout guide, and parking lock pawl bracket from the transmission case.




2. Remove the manual valve lever shaft retainer spring from the manual valve lever shaft.




3. Using a screwdriver, release and remove the spacer.




4. Using a pin punch and hammer, drive out the detent lever shaft pin.
5. Remove the manual shaft and manual shaft detent lever.




6. Remove the parking pawl actuator from the manual shaft detent lever.




7. Remove the manual shift shaft from the transmission case.




8. Using a screwdriver, remove the parking pawl shaft from the transmission case.
9. Remove the parking lock pawl torsion spring (1) and parking lock from the transmission case.
