14. 2nd Clutch Disassemble

2nd Clutch Disassemble




1. Remove the 1st clutch sprag retainer.
2. Remove the retainer from the low and reverse clutch backing plate retaining ring (1).




3. Remove the 2nd clutch piston spring sub-assembly.
4. Using a press (1), plate, and 4 equal length blocks, remove the snap ring from the 2nd clutch piston.
5. Remove the 2nd clutch spring from the 2nd clutch piston and 2nd clutch housing.




6. Remove the 2nd clutch spring from the 2nd clutch piston and clutch housing.




7. Hold the 2nd clutch piston and apply compressed air to the 2nd clutch housing to remove the 2nd clutch.




8. Using a screwdriver, remove the O-rings from the 2nd clutch housing.
