Rear Suspension




Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (All Wheel Drive and GT)

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a lift that places the weight of the vehicle on the tires. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).




2. Use a wrench in order to hold the lower stud on the stabilizer shaft link.
3. Remove the nut (1) from the stud.
4. Use a wrench in order to hold the upper stud on the link.
5. Remove the nut (2) from the stud.
6. Remove the link from the lower control arm.
7. Remove the link from the stabilizer shaft.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the link to the stabilizer shaft.
2. Install the link to the lower control arm.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the 2 nuts to the link studs.
4. Using suitable wrenches (1, 2), tighten the nuts to 44 Nm (32 lb ft).
5. Lower the vehicle.
