Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front door sill plate trim panel.
2. Remove hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement).
3. Pull the front door opening weather-strip (2) loose from the door flange (1).
4. Remove the weather-strip (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Apply weather-strip adhesive GM P/N 12345096, or equivalent, to the front door opening weather-strip (2).
2. Press the weather-strip (2) onto the front door opening flange (1).
3. Install hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to. Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement)
4. Install front door sill plate trim panel.
