Rear Spoiler Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the liftgate upper garnish molding. Refer to Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement (Upper Center) ()Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement (Upper Right) ()Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement (Upper Left) ().
3. Remove the 2 hole plugs (1) from the left and right sides of the liftgate.
4. Remove the 5 nuts (2).
5. Disengage the clips and remove the spoiler from the liftgate.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the spoiler to the liftgate by aligning the clips and studs to the liftgate holes.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the 5 nuts (2). Tighten the spoiler nuts to 5 Nm (44 lb in).
3. Install the 2 hole plugs (1) to the liftgate.
4. Install the liftgate upper garnish molding. Refer to Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement (Upper Center) ()Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement (Upper Right) ()Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement (Upper Left) ().
