Luggage Carrier Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disengage the four retaining clips.
2. Remove the plastic push retainer.
3. Remove the front luggage carrier leg cover from the front luggage carrier.




4. Remove the four bolts and the front luggage carrier assembly.




5. Remove the front luggage carrier gasket, if necessary.




6. Disengage the four retaining clips.
7. Remove the plastic push retainer.
8. Remove the rear luggage carrier leg cover from the rear luggage carrier.




9. Remove the four bolts and the rear luggage carrier assembly.




10. Remove the rear luggage carrier gasket, if necessary.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear luggage carrier gasket, if removed.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the rear luggage carrier and the 4 bolts.

Tighten the rear luggage carrier mounting bolts to 31 Nm (23 lb ft).




3. Position the rear luggage carrier leg cover to the rear luggage carrier.
4. Engage the four retaining clips.
5. Install the plastic push retainer.




6. Install the front luggage carrier gasket, if removed.




7. Install the front luggage carrier and the 4 bolts.

Tighten the front luggage carrier mounting bolts to 31 Nm (23 lb ft).




8. Position the front luggage carrier leg cover to the front luggage carrier.
9. Engage the four retaining clips.
10. Install the plastic push retainer.
