Liftgate Lock Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Disconnect the rod (1).




3. Remove the two bolts (1).
4. Remove the liftgate lock actuator (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the liftgate lock actuator (2) to the liftgate.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)

2. Install the liftgate lock actuator bolts (1). Tighten liftgate latch bolts to 7.5 Nm (66 lb in).




3. Connect the rod (1).
4. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement).
