Rear Floor Console Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disengage the eight retainers and remove the rear upper console trim panel.




2. Disengage the six retainers.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors and harness retainer and remove the upper cigar lighter console compartment.
4. Remove the console box carpet.




5. Remove the two bolts and the two screws.




6. Disengage the four retainers and remove the rear console.




7. Remove the two screws.




8. Using a taped flat-bladed tool, disengage the four retainers and remove the rear console cup holder.




9. Disengage the ten retainers and the two guides and remove the rear console trim panel.




10. Remove the two console compartment door cushions (1) from the console compartment door.




11. Remove the two screws and the console compartment door lock assembly.




12. Remove the two screws and the console compartment door.




13. Remove the five screws and remove the lower console box.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lower console box and the five screws.




2. Install the console compartment door and the two screws.




3. Install the console compartment door lock assembly and the two screws.




4. Install the two console compartment door cushions (1) to the console compartment door.




5. Install the rear console trim panel and engage the ten retainers and the two guides.




6. Install the rear console cup holder and engage the four retainers.




7. Install the two screws.




8. Install the rear console and engage the four retainers.




9. Install the two bolts and the two screws.




10. Install the console box carpet.
11. Connect the electrical connectors and engage the harness retainer and install the upper cigar lighter console compartment.
12. Engage the six retainers.




13. Install the rear upper console trim panel and engage the eight retainers.
