Liftgate Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the liftgate sill trim plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement (Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement).
2. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 2 bolts (2)
* The rear liftgate striker (1)

Installation Procedure




1. Install the liftgate striker (2) to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)

2. Secure the striker with the 2 bolts (2). Tighten The rear compartment lid lock striker bolts to 23 Nm (17 lb ft).
3. Install the liftgate sill trim plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement (Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement).
