Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement


Removal Procedure





1.Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .

2.Disengage the two clips (1) and separate the wire harness.

3.Remove the front bumper fascia energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .





4.Remove the 4 nuts which secure the front bumper impact bar.





5.Remove the front bumper impact bar (1) from the front bumper impact bar outer brackets.

Installation Procedure

Caution:Refer to Fastener Caution .





1.Install the front bumper impact bar to the front bumper impact bar outer brackets. Secure the impact bar with the 4 nuts.

Tighten the front bumper impact bar nuts to36 N �m (26 lb ft).

2.Install the front bumper fascia energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement





3.Position the wire harness and engage the two clips (1).

4.Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
