Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (With GT)

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover
Removal Procedure





1.Apply protective tape (1) around the front fascia assembly.





1.Remove the retaining clip (1).

2.Using a flat-bladed tool, turn the pin (2) 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.





1.Remove the push-in retainers (2) from the lower bumper fascia using J 38778 .

2.Remove the lower front fascia screws (1).





1.Remove the push-in retainers (3) from the upper bumper fascia using J 38778 .

2.Remove the bolt (3) and the radiator grille protectors (2).





1.Disengage the three claws and guide, and disconnect the front bumper fascia assembly.

2.Disconnect the fog lamp connectors, if equipped.

3.Remove the front bumper fascia assembly from the vehicle.

4.Remove the fog lamps, if equipped. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement .

5.Remove the fascia inserts, if equipped. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Insert Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Insert Replacement .





1.Remove the two screws and the license mounting plate bracket.

2.Remove the grilles from the fascia. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement and Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .

3.Remove the front fascia emblem. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Emblem/Nameplate Replacement .

4.Remove the fender liner retainers from the front fascia.

Installation Procedure





1.Install the fender liner retainers to the front fascia.

2.Install the front fascia emblem. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Emblem/Nameplate Replacement .

3.Install the grilles to the fascia. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement and Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .

4.Install the two screws and the license mounting plate bracket.

5.Install the fascia inserts, if equipped. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Insert Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Insert Replacement .

6.Install the fog lamps, if equipped. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement .

7.Install the front bumper fascia assembly to the vehicle.

8.Connect the fog lamp connectors, if equipped.





1.Engage the three claws and guide, and connect the front bumper fascia assembly.





1.Install the bolt (3) and the radiator grille protectors (2).

2.Install the push-in retainers (3) to the upper bumper fascia.





1.Install the lower front fascia screws (1).

2.Install the push-in retainers (2) to the lower bumper fascia.





1.Install the pin (2) 90 degrees and the pin hold clip.

2.Install the retaining clip (1).





1.Remove the protective tape (1) from around the front fascia assembly.
