Radio Antenna Cable Extension Cable Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Peel the strips of tape (1) used to secure the antenna cable (3) only to the extent that allows removal of the antenna cable (3).
Note: Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the headliner so that the tape can be reused.
3. Pull out the antenna cable (3) from the slit.
4. Disengage the three retainers (2), if equipped and remove the antenna cable (3) from the headliner.
Installation Procedure
1. Engage the three retainers (2), if equipped and install the antenna cable (3) to the headliner from the front of the vehicle.
2. Put the strips of tape (1) back into the positions shown in the illustration in order to secure the antenna cable (3) to the headliner.
Note: If the tape has lost adhesion, use other tape, such as packing tape, with enough adhesion to secure the antenna cable (3) to the headliner.
3. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
