Cellular and Navigation Antenna Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left and right upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Remove the rear assist handles. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the two rear headliner retainers and reposition the headliner for access.




4. Disconnect three antenna connectors (1).
5. Remove the antenna mounting bolt (2).




6. Depress the antenna locking tabs (2) and remove the antenna (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Engage the antenna locking tabs (2) and install the antenna (1).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the antenna mounting bolt (2).

Tighten the antenna mounting bolt (2) to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

3. Connect the three antenna connectors (1).
4. Reposition the headliner and install the two rear retainers.
5. Install the rear assist handles. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Install the left and right rear upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement).
