Transmission Disassemble

1. Remove the oil level indicator, bolt, tube, and O-ring.




2. Remove the nut (1), washer, and control shaft lever.




3. Using a screwdriver, unstake the lock plate, and remove the lock nut and nut stopper.




4. Remove the bolts (1, 2) and pull out the park/neutral position switch.




5. Remove the vent plug (1) from the transaxle case.




6. Remove the hose and O-ring (2) from the vent (1).




7. Remove the inlet oil cooler tube union (1).
8. Remove the O-ring (2) from the union.




9. Remove the outlet oil cooler tube union (1).
10. Remove the O-ring (2) from the union.




11. Remove the bolts and the speed sensors (1) from the transaxle assembly.




12. Remove the fluid pressure test hole plugs from the transaxle case.
13. Remove the O-rings.
