J 44749 Split Plate Bearing Gear Puller
1. Using a press (1), remove the output gear from the transaxle case.
2. Tighten the bolts evenly and make a clearance of approximately 20.0 mm (0.797 in) between the output gear and the inner race.
3. Using a press and J 44749 (3), remove the bearing.
4. Using a brass bar and hammer, tap out the bearing outer races.
5. Remove the output gear hole snap ring.
6. Using a screwdriver, pry out the snap ring from the transaxle.
