Accumulator Piston Removal




Accumulator Piston Removal




1. Remove the transmission case fluid passage gasket (1) from the transmission case.




2. Remove the transmission case fluid passage gasket (1) from the transmission case.




3. Remove the fluid passage gasket (1) from the transmission case.




4. Remove the exhaust valve and spring from the transmission case.





Note: Applying compressed air may cause the piston to jump out. When removing the piston, hold it with your hand using a cloth.

5. Apply compressed air to the oil hole and remove the 4th clutch accumulator piston.




6. Remove the spring from the 4th clutch accumulator piston.




7. Remove the O-ring (1) from the 4th clutch accumulator piston.





Note: Applying compressed air may cause the piston to jump out. When removing the piston, hold it with your hand using a cloth.

8. Apply compressed air to the oil hole and remove the 2nd clutch accumulator piston and spring.




9. Remove the O-rings (1, 2) from the 2nd clutch accumulator piston.





Note: Applying compressed air may cause the piston to jump out. When removing the piston, hold it with your hand using a cloth.

10. Apply compressed air to the oil hole and remove the direct clutch accumulator piston and springs.




11. Remove the O-ring (1) from the direct clutch accumulator piston.
