Accumulator Piston Installation




Accumulator Piston Installation




1. Coat a new O-ring (1) with ATF WS, and install it to the direct clutch accumulator piston.




2. Coat the piston with ATF WS, install it to the transaxle.

* Accumulator Spring - Direct Clutch Inner
* Free Length/Outer Diameter - 15.9-60.24 mm (0.626-2.3716 in)
* Color - yellowish/green
* Accumulator Spring - Direct Clutch Outer
* Free Length/Outer Diameter - 21.7-74.61 mm (0.854-2.9374 in)
* Color - blue




3. Coat the new O-rings (1, 2) with ATF WS, and install them to the 2nd clutch accumulator piston.




4. Install the spring (1) to the transaxle.
5. Coat the piston with ATF WS, and install it to the transaxle.

* Accumulator Spring - 2nd Clutch
* Free Length/Outer Diameter - 18.5-81.53 mm (0.728-3.2098 in)
* Color - pink




6. Coat a new O-ring (1) with ATF WS, and install it to the 4th clutch accumulator piston.




7. Coat the piston with ATF WS, install it to the transaxle case.

* Accumulator Spring - 4th Clutch
* Free Length/Outer Diameter - 19.2-90.49 mm (0.756-3.5626 in)
* Color - white




8. Install the spring from the 4th clutch accumulator piston.




9. Install the exhaust valve and spring.




10. Coat a new fluid passage gasket (1) with ATF WS, and install it to the transaxle.




11. Coat a new transmission case fluid passage gasket (1) with ATF WS, and install it to the transaxle.




12. Coat a new transmission case fluid passage gasket (1) with ATF WS, and install it to the transaxle.
