1-2-3-Reverse Clutch Sprag Removal




1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the snap ring from the transaxle.




2. Remove the 1-2-3 reverse clutch sprag from the transaxle case.




3. Remove the outer race retainer from the 1-2-3 reverse clutch sprag.




4. Using a screwdriver, pry out the snap ring.




5. Remove the flange, 1-2-3 reverse clutch discs and plates from the transaxle.




6. Using a snap ring expander and press with adapter (1), remove the snap ring and piston return spring.
