1-2-3-Reverse Clutch Sprag Installation





Note:
* P = Plate (2)
* D = Disc (1)

1. Install the discs and plates to the transaxle.
Make sure you install in order - P-D-P-D-P-D
2. Using a screwdriver, install the snap ring.




3. Using a dial indicator, measure the pack clearance while applying and releasing compressed air.

Standard pack clearance - 1.59-2.20 mm (0.0626-0.0866 in)

4. Select an appropriate flange so that it will meet the specified value. Refer to Transmission General Specifications (Transmission General Specifications) for standard flange thickness D.
5. Temporarily remove the snap ring and attach the flange. Restore the snap ring.




6. Install the outer race retainer to the 1-2-3 reverse clutch sprag.





Note: Make sure that the mark on the clutch outer race is visible.

7. Install the 1-2-3 reverse clutch sprag to the transaxle.




8. Using a screwdriver, install the snap ring to the transaxle.
