Shift Control Housing Assemble




1. Lubricate the shift lever plungers and the lever spring seat surface of the shift control housing with transmission fluid.
2. Install the shift control lever extension shaft.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the shift control lever extension shaft socket retaining bolt and tighten to 20 Nm (14 lb ft).




4. Install the shift control housing detent.
5. Install the shift control housing detent plug spring.
6. Install the shift control housing detent plug and tighten to 24 Nm (18 lb ft).
7. Install the shift control lever spring.
8. Install the boot into the control lever housing.
9. Install the shift control lever into the boot.
