Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement (2.0L LNF)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the turbocharger. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
3. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the turbocharger. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement (Service and Repair).
