Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the right engine mount upper nut.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).




5. Remove the right engine mount lower nut.




6. Remove the left engine mount lower nut.




7. Remove the right brake hose bracket bolt.
8. Remove the right brake line clip at the crossmember.
9. Position an adjustable jack below the oil pan. Place a block of wood between the oil pan and the jack.
10. Raise the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine mount can be removed.
11. Remove the right engine mount.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the right engine mount.
2. Lower the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine is resting on the mount.
3. Remove the adjustable jack from below the oil pan.
4. Install the right brake line clip at the crossmember.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

5. Install the right brake hose bracket bolt and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




6. Install the left engine mount lower nut and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb ft).




7. Install the right engine mount lower nut and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb ft).
8. Lower the vehicle.




9. Install the right engine mount upper nut and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb ft).
10. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
11. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
