10. Exhaust Manifold Installation

Exhaust Manifold Installation




1. Install the exhaust manifold and gasket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the exhaust manifold retaining nuts and tighten in the sequence shown.

Tighten the exhaust manifold retaining nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).




3. Install the exhaust manifold nuts to the catalytic converter.

Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).




4. Install the heat shield.

Tighten the heat shield bolts to 13 N.m (10 lb ft).

5. Connect the oxygen sensor connector.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
