Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer

Removal Procedure





1. Lower the window assembly.
2. Remove the door outer belt sealing strip assembly retaining screw (1).
3. Starting at the rear of the door, gently pull the door outer belt sealing strip (2) in an upward direction form the door and slide the sealing strip (2) out from underneath the rear view mirror assembly.



Installation Procedure





1. Slide the door outer belt sealing strip (2) under the rear view mirror assembly.
2. Align the rear of the door outer belt sealing strip (2) with the rear of the door.
3. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip (2) to the front door pinch-weld flange pressing into place until fully seated

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the retaining screw (1) to the front door outer belt sealing strip.

Tighten the outer belt sealing strip screw to 2 N.m (17 lb in).
