Wiper Linkage Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear wiper arm from the rear wiper linkage.
3. Remove the cover and the nut from the wiper arm base.
4. Remove the rear wiper motor.
5. Slide the wiper linkage out from the hatchback door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the wiper linkage rod to the wiper arm base.
2. Install the wiper linkage to the wiper motor crank arm.
3. Install the new wiper motor.
4. Install the new rear wiper arm.
