8. Transaxle Case Housing Removal

1. Remove all internal and external bolts which attach the transaxle case to the transaxle case housing (701). Note the position of the three Torx(r) head bolts (703).
2. Gently tap around the transaxle case housing with a rubber mallet in order to remove the case housing from the transaxle case.
3. Remove the transaxle case housing-to-case gasket.
4. Inspect the transaxle case housing-to-case mating surfaces for scars or damage.
