24. One-Way Clutch Overhaul

IMPORTANT: Do not disassemble the one-way clutch except for diagnostic or inspection purposes. If you find any damage or abnormal wear, replace the one-way clutch as an assembly.

1. Remove both the inner one-way clutch snap ring and the outer one-way clutch snap ring from the one-way clutch race.
2. Remove the one-way clutch from the one-way clutch race.
3. Inspect the one-way clutch sprags and race for any abnormal wear or damage.
4. Install the one-way clutch into the one-way clutch race.
5. Install both the inner and the outer one-way clutch snap rings into the race.
