Battery Tray Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the positive battery cable.




3. Remove the bolt from the battery hold down brace (1).
4. Remove the battery hold-down brace (1).
5. Remove the battery (2) from the vehicle.
6. Remove the battery tray bracket (3) from the vehicle by removing the 3 bolts.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the battery tray bracket (3) to the vehicle. Secure the bracket with the 3 bolts.

Tighten the battery tray bracket bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).

2. Install the battery (2) to the vehicle.
3. Install the battery hold down brace (1) to the vehicle. Secure the battery hold down brace with the bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).

4. Connect the positive battery cable.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
