Four-Door





REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the lower anchor bolt that retains the front seat belt.
2. Gently pry the lower center pillar trim panel loose. Remove the panel from the vehicle.
3. Remove the 2 screws and the center pillar seat belt guide.
4. Remove the screw, and remove the front seat belt retractor (5) from the vehicle.
5. Open the cover, and remove the anchor bolt that retains the upper guide loop (1) of the front seat belt.
6. Remove the bolt, and remove the front seat belt buckle (3) from the front seat.
7. Disconnect the seat belt switch connector.


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the seat belt switch connector.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the front seat belt buckle (3) to the front seat. Secure the buckle with the bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the seat belt buckle bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

3. Install the front seat belt retractor (5) to the vehicle. Secure the retractor with the screw.
4. Install the lower anchor bolt that retains the front seat belt.

Tighten
Tighten the lower anchor bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

5. Install the seat belt guide loop (1) to the center pillar. Secure the guide loop with the anchor bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the guide loop anchor bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

6. Install the seat belt guide to the center pillar. Secure the guide with the 2 screws.
7. Close the guide loop cover.
8. Install the center pillar lower trim panel onto the center pillar.
