Fuel Tank Vent: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the 2 vapor hoses (2) from the fill limiter vent valve (1).




3. Remove the 4 screws and the fill limiter vent valve from the fuel tank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURES




1. Install the fill limiter vent valve to the fuel tank.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Secure the fill limiter vent valve to the fuel tank with the 4 screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).




3. Connect the 2 vapor hoses (2) to the fill limiter vent valve (1).
