Receiver Dryer Tube Replacement - Inlet

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Discharge and recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. Service and Repair
2. Remove the bolt and the inlet tube from the top of the receiver-dryer (5).
3. Disconnect the receiver-dryer inlet from the condenser outlet pipe fitting (6).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Coat new O-rings with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
2. Install the O-rings to the receiver-dryer inlet tube.
3. Install the inlet tube to the top of the receiver-dryer (5). Secure inlet tube with the bolt.
4. Connect the receiver-dryer inlet to the condenser outlet pipe fitting (6).
5. Evacuate and recharge the Air Conditioning (A/C) system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. Service and Repair
6. Operate the A/C system, and test the system for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing. Leak Testing
