Engine Mount Replacement (Right Engine Mount)

Removal Procedure

^ Tools Required
- J 28467-A Universal Support Fixture
- J 28467-89 Engine Support Fixture Adapters (Metro)

1. Use a J 28467-A with a J 28467-89 in order to support the engine. Refer to Engine Support Fixture.
2. Remove the two right engine mount-to-mounting bracket bolts.





3. Remove the right engine mount through-bolt and the mount (5) from the mounting bracket (4).
4. Remove the three mounting bracket bolts and the right mounting bracket (4) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

^ Tools Required
- J 28467-A Universal Support Fixture
- J 28467-89 Engine Support Fixture Adapters (Metro)





1. Install the right mounting bracket (4) to the vehicle.
2. Secure the mounting bracket (4) with the three mounting bracket bolts. Do not tighten fully.
3. Install the right engine mount (5) and through-bolt to the mounting bracket (4).
4. Secure the right engine mount with the two right engine mount-to-mounting bracket bolts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Tighten the fasteners.
^ Tighten the mount bolt to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the right engine mount-to-mounting bracket bolts to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the mounting bracket bolts to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
6. Remove the J 28467-A and the J 28467-89.
