Modulator Gear Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the brake modulator assembly. Refer to Brake Modulator Assembly Replacement. Brake Modulator Assembly Replacement
2. Remove six screws (5) that retain the gear cover to the hydraulic modulator/motor pack assembly (1).
3. Remove the gear cover (4).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the gear cover (4) onto the modulator/motor pack assembly (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the six screws (5).
- Tighten the screws (5) to 4 Nm (36 inch lbs.).
