Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the brake pads. Refer to Brake Pad Inspection.
2. Remove 2 bolts and the caliper carrier from the vehicle.
3. Remove 2 caliper pins, with the boots, from the caliper carrier (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Lubricate the caliper pins with silicone grease.
2. Install 2 caliper pins, with the boots, to the caliper carrier.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the caliper carrier (1) to the vehicle. Secure the carrier with 2 bolts.
- Tighten the caliper carrier bolts to 40 - 60 Nm (29 - 43 lb ft).
4. Install the linings. Refer to Brake Pad Inspection.
