Rear Seat Back Cushion Outer Hinge Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disengage the 2 plastic snaps which secure the luggage compartment carpet to the floor at the rear of the luggage compartment.
2. Remove 4 plastic retaining clips along the forward edge of the luggage compartment floor.
3. Lift the carpet over the rear seat back in order to gain access to the rear seat back outboard hinges.
4. Place the rear seat back in the folded position.




5. Remove the 2 screws (1) which secure the outboard hinge to the rear seat back.
6. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

1. The screw
2. The outboard hinge

Installation Procedure




1. Install the outboard hinge to the vehicle. Secure the hinge with 1 screw.
2. Install the outboard hinge to the rear seat back. Secure the hinge with 2 screws (1).
3. Place the seat back in the upright position.
4. Position the luggage compartment carpet into place with the following:

* 4 plastic retaining clips along the forward edge of the luggage compartment floor.
* 2 plastic snaps at the rear of the luggage compartment.
