Rear Seat Back Cushion Latch Striker Replacement (2 Door)

Removal Procedure




1. Position the rear seat back cushion forward.
2. Remove the rear strut tower trim from the rear compartment trim panel.
3. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The bolt (1)
* The nut (3)
* The seat back lock striker (2)

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the rear seat back striker (2) to the vehicle. Secure the striker with the nut (3) and with the bolt (1).

Tighten the nut and the bolt that retain the rear seat back striker to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

2. Install the rear strut tower trim to the rear compartment trim panel.
3. Return the rear seat back to the up position.
